As a law student, she worked for the Federal Public Defender for the District of Oregon, the Metropolitan Public Defenders, and the Oregon Innocence Project. After graduation, she served as a judicial law clerk to Chief Judge Marco Hernández at the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
