Mark Wilson | Special Advisor, Litigation and Experiential Support (pro bono/volunteer)
Mark is currently an Adult in Custody (AIC) at Oregon State Correctional Institution and works as Legal Assistant. Mark has worked as a legal assistant throughout most of his 32 years of confinement: at OSCI from August 1988 to June 22, 1990; at OSP from November 20, 1991 to September 30, 2004; and again, at OSCI from February 1, 2012 to the present. Numerous lawyers have relied upon Mark’s work. Additionally, Mark has acted as Special Advisor to the OJRC since 2018, consulting on matters relating to youth justice, sentencing, Measure 11, parole hearings, prison education, and prison reform. With the OJRC, Mark authored and published a comprehensive resource for AICs and attorneys, A Guide to Preparing for Your Murder Review Hearing.
