Kyle Colleen Black | Policy Associate

Kyle Colleen Black regards being of service to people as more than a job: for her it is an honor and a privilege. The work she is doing at the Oregon Justice Resource Center and elsewhere gives her a prized opportunity to serve others, whether it’s a single person or an entire group of people. Kyle Colleen is undergoing her own journey of reentering society after 26 years of incarceration and navigating the shifts that come along with that. She brings everything she has learned to her role with OJRC and hopes to continue to build her career of service far into the future. Kyle Colleen works as a Policy Associate within our Policy team, meeting with people from all walks of life to advocate for change in Oregon’s criminal legal and punishment systems, rooted in her own detailed knowledge of these systems.
