Jonny Gersten | Civil Rights Project | Attorney
Jonny moved to Oregon from Nashville, Tennessee to attend law school near his family in Portland. He graduated Lewis & Clark Law School in 2019, where he co-chaired the student chapter of the National Lawyers Guild. After graduation and the bar exam, he worked as an attorney in juvenile public defense. His passion for civil rights litigation (and the opportunity to work with great people) drew him to OJRC. Prior to law school, he taught middle school English and social studies in Nashville.
